Etna Bianco Doc is an appellation unique to the slopes of Mount Etna, the most active Volcano in the European Continent. Vineyards are at 850m a.s.l. and the grapes grow on volcanic soils in the Northern slopes of the mountain, in Contrada S. Lorenzo.. A blend of 70% Carricante and 30% Catarratto, the two grapes allowed in the denomination rules. Straw yellow color with green reflections. On the nose you can appreciate notes of white pulp fruit. On the palate it has excellent acidity with a flint stone aftertaste. The minerality of this wine, due to the volcanic soils, grows with ageing in bottle, a wine to drink now or to keep for further 5-6 years.
